Old Bradford H.S. Tours for Class Reunions Offered

Kris (Winzer) Miller, Bradford Class of '73, gives free guided tours of the old Bradford H.S. (Currently Reuther Central H.S.) She is currently the Librarian at the school. Kris will handle all permits needed to do the tour. Group tours are available Monday - Fridays between 3 pm and 7 pm. Individual tours or groups of 4 or less can be arranged during the day by appointment.

Although tours are free, Donations made out to: “North Side Stadium Project” will be accepted and placed into the new stadium account.

ALL Bradford Choir Alumni who were under the direction of Roger Tweiten between 1966-1980 are invited to our Choir reunion.
This is the 40th anniversary year of the Norway choir trip and we are having a HUGE choir party FOR ALL CHOIR ALUMNI WHO EVER SANG UNDER THE DIRECTION OF ROGER TWEITEN. EVERYONE IS INVITED, NOT JUST ACAPPELLA MEMBERS, OR NORWAY CHOIR MEMBERS. EVERYONE THAT SANG FOR ROGER IS INVITED TO THE TOUR, "CHOIR REHEARSAL" , PARTY AFTERWARDS AND BREAKFAST.
The party will begin on Friday, October 7.(Bradford Class of '71 is having their 40th class reunion the following night, Sat. Oct. 8) So if you live out of town and are a Class of '71 alum, come for BOTH parties.
All band, orchestra and choir alums are invited for the 4 to 6 pm guided tour of the old Bradford H.S. on Sheridan Rd. Kris Winzer Miller works there as a Library Media Specialist and does tours for alumni groups and will guide us through the building, classrooms, boys and girls' gym, the pool...where the boys swam naked when they ran out of trunks, and the gorgeous historic auditorium that we all sang and played in!
From 6 to 7 we will have "choir practice" in the gym and have an ALUMNI CHOIR GROUP PICTURE !!!! From 7 to 8 we will reminisce, share pictures and listen to remastered copies of tapes and records of our singing from 40 years ago.
From 8 to midnight - ALL Choir, orchestra and Band Alums are invited to join us with "The Chevelles" at Ashling's Irish Pub down by the museum along Lake Michigan located at 125-56th St. Then, the submarine races by the lake....JUST KIDDING Do we have your attention now? We'll party as long as we can stand and sing.

Saturday morning - 10 am brunch at Baker Street on Hwy 31 (former Shakey's pizza)  We will probably stay there until noon.
